“Laptops, phone, tablets … Broken screens, occasionally they want a new battery, at times new storage,” mentioned Zheng.

So much, they’ve fixed and refurbished approximately 100 products. The teens have partnered with groups like Intercontinental Rescue Committee, which has distributed people equipment to local refugees, people today that in any other case may well not have experienced obtain to technologies or chance.

“Feels surreal to be a portion of transforming their life for good, to have a large, constructive influence on their lives,” reported Agarwal.

“Putting a gadget in the palms of a person who desires it is the very best feeling in the planet,” said Zheng. “There’s these a large divide among people who do have access and all those who do not, and our goal is to shut that divide.”

The group’s wants include machine donations and funds to obtain digital parts.
