Congressman Tonko Announces 2022 Congressional App Challenge

SARATOGA SPRINGS — Congressman Paul D. Tonko has not long ago announced the start of this year’s Congressional Application Obstacle (CAC), an application competitiveness for students in middle and superior faculty.  Officially launched by the U.S. Dwelling of Reps in 2015, the Congressional App Problem is a nationwide effort letting college students to compete from their friends by developing an app for cellular, tablet, or personal computer devices.  The obstacle aims to motivate innovation and engagement in coding, laptop science and STEM schooling, a longtime precedence for Congressman Tonko.

The submission portal is now open up.  Students can register and submit their applications at CongressionalAppChallenge.US until November 1st, 2022.  The Obstacle accepts apps written in any programming language, for any system, and the opposition is open to all college students who show up at a school in the 20 taking part college districts, no matter of coding working experience.

The winning unique or team will be selected by an appointed panel of judges and will obtain an invitation to a reception held in their honor. Their software will also be featured on CongressionalAppChallenge.US.  The profitable app will also be on show in the U.S. Capitol together with other winners from across the nation.
